Cygnet Theatre is pleased to present a Sensory-friendly performance of A Christmas Carol on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Sensory-friendly performances are designed to create a welcoming and comfortable arts experience for people with autism, sensory sensitivities, or other social, learning or cognitive disabilities.
What does a sensory friendly performance include?
- A pre-show chat to help familiarize audience members with parts of the show and some of its characters (including puppets).
- Sound and lighting design adjusted for a more sensory friendly experience.
- The ability to move about freely during the performance.
- A designated Quiet Zone throughout the performance.
- Trained staff to be on site to support audience members and help make their theatre experience most enjoyable.
