Jasmine January

Jasmine is so excited to be a part of this incredible production! This process has been a rollercoaster but has been so rewarding and memorable. I’ll just say, welcome to the show! Some of Jasmine’s regional credits include Fraulein Kost in Cabaret (Cygnet), Female U/S in Crime and Punishment; A Comedy (The Old Globe), Tina Turner/Linda U/S in The Wedding Singer (Moonlight Amphitheatre), Erma in Anything Goes (San Diego Musical Theatre), Little Red in Into the Woods (New Village Arts). You may have also seen her in Jesus Christ Superstar (Moonlight), Sister Act (SDMT), Smokey Joe’s Café  (NVA), Avenue Q (NVA), This Beautiful City (Diversionary). Megan Carmitchel

Damon Carter

Damon Carter is a Los Angeles native who recently returned to SoCal after living in Boston for over two decades. His career thrived in Boston as a professional pianist, educator, and songwriter for Sony Music Publishing. Damon earned his Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance from Boston’s Berklee College of Music. He then went on to earn a Master of Education Degree from Cambridge College in Cambridge, MA. Most recently, Damon has added author to his resume with the launch of DC Music Lab’s debut release Classical Remix For The Recorder (www.dcmusiclab.com).

Damon is thrilled to reprise his role as Jimmy Powers, and music director for Lady Day At Emerson’s Bar and Grill at San Diego’s Cygnet Theatre.

Dean Remington

Dean is thrilled to return to the Cygnet having completed successful runs of La Cage aux Folles, The Virgin Trial, Pride and Prejudice, Every Brilliant Thing, The Wind and the Breeze, A Christmas Carol, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, Shockheaded Peter, When the Rain Stops Falling, and Stupid F***ing Bird.  National Tours include The Lion King and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.  In the UK he was delighted to work with Cameron Mackintosh on his musical, Hey, Mr. Producer!  Other highlights include The Luckiest, the Annual Gala and the WoW Festival for La Jolla Playhouse; Outside Mullingar and the world premiere of Manifest Destinitis at San Diego Repertory Theatre; as well as international productions of Grease, 42nd Street, Anything Goes, A Chorus Line and Meet Me in St. Louis.
