Cygnet Theatre FAQs

When will you reopen the theatre?
We are pleased to welcome audiences back on September 10th with our opening show, La Cage Aux Folles!

What are Cygnet’s plans to keep patrons safe upon reopening?
In advance of reopening, Cygnet Theatre has worked to ensure a safe return for patrons, including:

  • An upgrading and deep cleaning of our HVAC system to improve filtration and clean outdoor-airflow, as well as replacing all filters with MERV-13 and HEPA filters to meet the CDC and ASHRAE guidelines.
  • Enhanced cleaning and sanitation measures.
  • Paperless ticketing and program options available to all patrons.
  • Concessions and restroom accommodation.
  • Cygnet is also offering no-questions-asked ticket exchanges to accommodate patrons who are uncomfortable attending upon arrival, or for those not feeling well.

What is your Mask and Vaccine Policy?

Masks: Masks are required indoors regardless of vaccination status.  Masks must completely cover your nose and mouth.  (Updated as of 8/25/21)

Proof of Vaccination: To enter the theater, guests need to have photo ID and either their physical CDC vaccination card, a picture of the vaccination card or a digital vaccine record, with at least 14 days elapsed from the date of final dose.

OR

A Negative Coronavirus PCR Test: For unvaccinated guests, test must have been taken within 72 hours of performance date. COVID testing sites can be found through the County of San Diego, CVS or your primary care provider.
